About this variety

Rapeseed Honey in bulk

The rapeseed bloom sweeps north across the Yangtze basin from late February, and it is the flow that opens our season. Volume is enormous and pricing is the keenest in our range, so rapeseed is where industrial buyers and large private-label programmes start their negotiation.

It sets hard and very fine within weeks — a property that makes it the standard base for creamed honey worldwide and for any application needing a pale, neutral sweetener. Because moisture can run higher at the start of the flow, every lot is dehumidified to specification and lab-verified before it is drummed.

Sensory profile

Flavour
Very mild, clean, mildly cabbage-sweet; low aromatic intensity.
Aroma
Faint, slightly green.

Very fast — 2–4 weeks, unavoidable and by design.

  • Industrial food manufacturing

  • Bakery and fermentation
  • Blending to lighten colour
