About this variety

Acacia Honey in bulk

Acacia is the most widely traded Chinese monofloral honey and the variety our packing lines are built around. The black locust bloom lasts barely two weeks in May, so the crop is short, sharply seasonal and worth locking in early — we contract apiary output before the flow starts and hold graded stock in temperature-controlled tanks year round.

Its commercial advantage is stability. A naturally high fructose-to-glucose ratio keeps acacia liquid and brilliantly clear far longer than any other bulk variety, so retail packers avoid the crystallisation complaints that plague darker honeys on supermarket shelves. The flavour is deliberately quiet — clean, floral, faintly vanilla — which is why it also dominates as a base honey for blending, infusions and food manufacturing.

Sensory profile

Flavour
Delicate, clean floral with a soft vanilla finish; no bitterness or aftertaste.
Aroma
Light, fresh, faintly sweet-floral.
Texture
Thin to medium viscosity, brilliantly transparent.
Crystallisation
Very slow — typically remains liquid 18–24 months at 20 °C.

Typical applications

  • Glass-jar and squeeze-bottle retail packing
  • Private-label / OEM programmes
  • Bakery, cereal and dairy manufacturing
  • Infused and flavoured honey bases
  • HoReCa portion packs and sachets

Guaranteed analysis

These are the contract values we ship against, not typical values. Every batch leaves with a certificate of analysis from our in-house laboratory, plus a third-party report from an accredited laboratory where the destination market or the buyer requires one.
